Milestones

Opening of the new warehouse at Königstein 2017

The previous factory, with an area of approx. 1,800 m², was expanded, modernised and extended by a new 3,800 m² hall.

Acquisition of PET Sachsen GmbH 2016

Our group company Logo Plastic AG acquires PET Sachsen GmbH in Saxony and establishes a production site in eastern Germany.

Acquisition by the Semadeni Plastics Group 2015

As per 1.1.2015, the Semadeni Plastics Group becomes sole shareholder of Logo Plastic AG. The former CEO Hanspeter Logo hands over the his successor Jürg Lochinger as the new CEO.

Start of own manufacturing in blowmolding 2011

Start of a production site in Bad Säckingen Germany, with 7 machines. Later this site is closed and moved to the new Logo plant Königstein/Saxony. 

Relocation to Pratteln 2008

Logo needs more space. It moves into modern new offices at the Salinenstrasse 63 in Pratteln. The stockholding and the logistics are outsourced to the company Planzer AG who is present at the same location.

Acquisition of Cartofont AG 2006

By taking over the competitor Logo Plastic adds many items to it’s offering and gains valuable technical know how.

The second generation steps in 1994

Hanspeter Logo takes over responsibility for the company and purchases all shares. He represents the second generation. He holds a degree in business administration. He manages to obtain important sales representations and travels the whole country extensively. He develops the company from a small player to a noticeable packaging player at European level.

Foundation of the company 1970

Arthur and Claire Logo-Flury lay the foundation stone to what will turn out to be a successful venture. The byline at the first offices at St. Alban Vorstadt 24 in Basel says: modern plastic packaging – plastic processing – a claim that holds true up to these days.
